Various artwork I did while I served in the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission for the LDS church.
If you want to see all of my mission artwork, go here [link]

I really like the new direction that these critters are taking, far more realistic and interesting. Even a little more serious.

That's my main concern, still trying to move farther away from that appearance. Way too much like Ratchet (even if I love ratchet).

I like the way they look too, the realistic aspects make them more believable. =3

Have you got a name for these dudes yet? I really like them, a bit like star fox, but theres a lot more cultural depth to them :p

I don't, actually. I've thought of a few possibilities, but nothing ever really sounded right. If not a scientific name, then at least a cultural name might do. If you have any ideas, throw them my way. :)

Yeh a latin name would be pretty cool, and maybe a more colloquial name too.

They're pretty similar to the fennec foxes

you might find some clues in their wikipedia

Like, their latin name is Vulpes zerda... zerda coming from xeros, which means dry.
The Zerda would be a pretty bitchin' name in my opinion :P

sorry... i always look too far into things.

That seems to work significantly well! Because, interestingly enough, they live on a desert-ish planet much like some parts of northern africa (of course there are some tropical zones, but not inhabited).
Thank you for your input, that is a pretty sweet name. I think I might go with that.

No problemo... I guess Fennecs or Fennex sounds good too, but that just means Fox :P
